In honor and celebration of Earth Day 2021, the University of the Virgin Islands (UVI), the Virgin Islands Department of Planning and Natural Resources (VIDPNR), the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority (VIWMA), and the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) are co-hosting a series of webinars and community conversations about solid waste and the Territory’s plans and progress towards lifecycle assessment (LCA), sustainable materials management (SMM) and zero waste (ZW).

During this webinar we will be launching and sharing highlights from two important reports for the Territory. The 2019 USVI Residential Waste Characterization Report and the USVI Sustainable Materials Management Analysis.
